The Air Force is seeking woman-owned small businesses interested in transforming a maintenance bay into a cyber lab on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas, home to the 24th Air Force cyberspace combat and support forces.

The 502D Contracting Squadron has released a presolicitation for the construction of a facility, dependent on the funds being allocated before Sept. 30, 2017.

The potential contract, valued at $100,000 to $250,000, includes all design, construction, new work and demolition of the interior of building 1005, including HVAC and electrical.

Once funds are available and an award made, the contractor would be required to begin work within 90 days of award. Work would be completed within a 176-day period of performance.

Official specifications and drawings will be made available on FBO.gov on or about June 26, 2017, with proposals due July 25, 2017.

Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management prior to award.
