The Federal Trade Commission has posted a job listing for a chief information security officer.

The vacancy, located in the FTC's Washington, D.C. Office of the Executive Director, Office of the Chief Information Officer, is a permanent G-15 appointment offering $128,082 - $160,300 per year.

The CISO will support end-user technologies and investments to provide secure, reliable IT services at headquarters, regional offices and off-site; customer-specific services to support FTC litigation activities; and general oversight and management services.

Along with supervising IT acquisition and skills development, the CISO will establish strategies for risk and policy management, customer experience, data governance and cybersecurity, applying best practices identified in support of the Clinger-Cohen Act, the E-Government Act and FITARA.

The job posting is active until Jan. 12.
